Cooperative buries electrical line

machine buring electrical line Meeker County Electrical Cooperative is completing upgrades along 3.25 miles of electrical line in Paynesville Township, principally along NW Koronis Road, Crestridge Road, and Breezewood Road. The company is replacing the overhead line with buried lines that will have five times the carrying capacity.

Meeker County Electric Cooperative is burying its service lines.

The company already planned to complete the $200,000 project this year, which worked nicely with the township's plans to rebuild these roads. Work started in early May. The new electrical lines are expected to be buried by the end of the month, though hook ups will take another month or so.
